Xin - United Nations Chinese Translator and Mandarin Interpreter based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Trained as both a translator and simultaneous interpreter at
the United Nations Training Program for Translators and
Interpreters in Beijing, China, Xin later worked at the United
Nations Chinese Translation Service as a professional
translator. In May 1993, he graduated from the University of
Cincinnati College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He is also
a contract translator for the U.S. State Department Language
Office. Since late 1992, he has been working as a freelance
translator and interpreter for major translation agencies
throughout the United States.
He is available for translation and interpreting from and into
Chinese, including, but not limited to, weekend and rush
assignments. He is very experienced in translating legal and
corporate documents, product information, website materials,
technical manuals and literary and academic works.
Currently based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he also has a
security clearance from the US Department of Defense and US
Department of Justice.
